Correct Version of Remote Agent for Netware

We would like to suggest you to upgrade to version 9.1.


In order to upgrade from Backup Exec Version 9.0 to Backup Exec 9.1 please refer the following technotes:

Note:

1. BEWS 9.1 is a free downloadable upgrade inclusive of previously installed agents and options from Backup Exec 9.0 for Windows Servers agents and options.

2. Update all agents/options on all remote systems after the upgrade.

However the NetWare agent that comes with Backup Exec for Windows Server 9.1 is version 8.5 while the NetWare agent included with Backup Exec for NetWare 9.1 is version 9.1.

If I upgrade the Backup Exec for Windows to version 9.1, should I use the Remote Agent for Netware v8.5 or v9.1?

The netware agent compatible with the 9.1 version is 9.1.
When you upgrade to 9.1 the NetWare agent included with Backup Exec for NetWare 9.1 is version 9.1.
