Dell LTO2 cannot recognize the drive type

Configuration : Windows 2000 sp4 Dell Ultrium 2 Lto2 + Veritas BackExec 9.1.4691 sp3.

"It cannot recognize the drive type "

When a backup job is run the message is generated
in the Job Monitor - "Loading Media" and the tape is
ejected; suggesting the media is not correct for the
what BackupExec expects with the current
configuration.

Does it means Veritas not support this device ?

    To check the compatibility of a drive please refer the HCL.
