How to restore Windows 2003 Server to dissimilar hardware?

I'm looking for instructions on how to restore Windows 2003 Server (not a domain controller) onto different hardware, maintaining the same machine name. This is for a DR drill, fortunately, not an actual emergency. Afterward I would like the original server to be up and running with its original machine name. I'd be grateful for any assistance.
