One Bug in 10D

Hi All,

 

Today my one backup tape got erased unexpectedly.

 

Actual Scenario was :

 

1) I have one job with following configuration:

             Device:  IBM1(26-29)

             Media Sets :  DECAPPS

             

             When this job Begins: Append to media, terminate job if no appendable media is available.

        

             As I configured Append to media, terminate job if no appendable media is available, it should not overwrite any media available in that partition, may be that media is from another media set.

 

             But unfortunately that job picked the media from different media set in the same partition and overwrited without any notification.

 

             Is this normal?
