Patching agents

The current process for patching servers (and media servers) is working OK.  (Except for Live Update not seeing all updates...)

 

Patching deployed agents is a real pain.  In short, there is no way to patch agents.  I have to re-copy the install files from the servers, and reinstall the agent for every single server I'm backing up.

 

I'd love an easier answer...  Some thoughts...

 

-Have patches be able to run locally on a server with just the agent, and patch that agent

-Be able to "push" out an updates agent to all connected servers.  (Note that pushing a fresh install of an agent doesn't work reliably or consistently now....)
