I have one server, and want to do a full backup. The server is Windows 2003 Small Business Server. I have exchange and several SQL Server 2000 MSDE databases. The server is on two partitions with a total size of approximately 160GB.AOFO: Initialization failure onI keep getting the following error: AOFO: Initialization failure on: " \ Snapshot provider error (0xE000FE29): Authentication failed on connection to the server. Make sure that the user account has the appropriate permissions and that the password was typed correctly. Check the Windows Event Viewer for details. Note: Backup Exec did not perform a snapshot of all volumes simultaneously because the option 'Process logical volumes for backup one at a time' was selected as a backup job property. The error in Event Viewer is: Sqllib error: OLEDB Error encountered calling IDBInitialize::Initialize. hr = 0x80040e4d. SQLSTATE: 42000, Native Error: 18456 Error state: 1, Severity: 14 Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Error message: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. The database is a SQL Server 2000 MSDE used by a third party application. I do have the password to the sa account for that database. The credentials for the sa account is in Logon Account Management for Backup Exec. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Re: Concurrent writes to two robotic drives with one backup jobThat is unbelievable. The Tapeware that was supplied with my drive wrote to both drives concurrently. I only have one server, and have no need for multiple jobs. What a pointless waste of time.Concurrent writes to two robotic drives with one backup jobI have a quantum autoloader with two robotic drives. However, my backup job only writes to one drive at a time. The free backup software that came with the drive wrote to both jobs concurrently. I upgraded to Backup Exec for the advanced features, however the backup job takes almost 30 hours. I do have the Library Expansion Option. Does Backup Exec concurrently write to two robotic drives?
