iscsi drive backup failure

Question

I have recently installed an ISCSI connected storage box and am trying to back it up using Symantec Backup exec 12.5.

The backup fails every time with error

"-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory \attache\accolade and its subdirectories."

Hardware details: Server DL380 G2 windows 2003 enterprise; 5gb ram,

Storage: InforTrend EonStor A16E-G2130-45

The storage box has 2 logical drives with 2 & 4TB on raid5. I am connecting to the 4TB drive. I have not tried the 2TB drive but was able to restore to it successfully.

any information on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

The issue was overcome by re-installing Symatec backup exec on a Win2k8 server with MS iscsi supported natively.&nbsp;&nbsp;

I have to wonder what type of partition that 4TB partition is. With standard Windows partitions, there is a 2TB limit, however, if you implement GUID Partition, that is extended beyond anything you will ever use.

The iscsi drive is configured as GUID partition (GPT).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
