storage unit

Our NB environment has 2 LIB.LIB A has one superDLT tape drive.LIB B has 2 tape drives,Ultrium tape and SuperDLT tape drive.What is the minimum no of storage unit required to use all the tape drives in both tape LIB?

7.1.x and Earlier

    one media server can access all drives with a minimum of 2 storage units

    Alright my answer was the same ,i was reading some sample question so there answer was 3 ,which was wrong,thanks for the reply

    I hate it when I am wrong.

     

    correction: 3

     

    1 storage unit for the library A using superDLT

    1 storage unit for library B using superDLT

    1 storage unit for library B using Ultrium

     

    reason:

    You can't mix libraries in a storage unit

    You can't mix tapedrives in a storage unit

    Those tricky exam questions.  I'm sure I messed up a question like that too.  I wanted more than 99% in my v6.5 exam!  (Actually I got less than that - I'm not saying how much though).  I'll have to try again another day.
