A solution would be good though for future reference if anyone has any ideas please? Thanks Re: "Access Denied to Database" - First Storage Group - Email Backup This email address is in the global address list, any other ideas please? Thanks Re: "Access Denied to Database" - First Storage Group - Email Backup Also might add that we don't do mailbox level backup, we back up the exchange store as a whole.... Any one know how its possible to do a mailbox level backup - and does it take any longer? Cheers "Access Denied to Database" - First Storage Group - Email Backup Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. Ive had this error before and know that it relates to a mailbox that cant be backed up because the user account for it has been disabled/deleted in Active Directory. I have always got round it by deleting/purging the mailbox from Exchange when its not needed. This same error message however is coming up on a shared mailbox we have just created (and need!!). The account used to run our backups has full permissions to this mailbox - I even tried giving Everyone full control one night - but still the next day we had the same error. Any ideas? Any help will be appreciated, thanks. Errors... Backup -***** \\ Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied. Access denied to database . "V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied. Access denied to database" Do different versions affect restore? Hi, We upgraded to 11D when it first came out a few months ago, as well as Virtualising all our Servers. We came to do a restore of quite a few back up tapes last week to find that the tapes were not being read properly, and we are the getting the errors... Catalog 00014 -- The job failed with the following error: The DC2000 cartridge has was formatted with an unrecognized format. These tapes were used around 6 months ago when we had Backup Exec 10d and also it was installed on a different server. Will this affect restoring? Thanks
