User Extensions MSI we would like to script the installation of the User Extensions and fully utilise the MSI package. However, Im not sure on what the command switches are. We would like to change the default installation path and also perform a full quiet install. Has anyone done this before/know if this is actually possible? many thanks Aidan Archive Task Ihave currently set my archiving task to run through the day (as we have to stop the services to back the data up at night) Basically the archiving task is set to archive any items over 90 days old. so heres my question: As the site schedule is from 6am to 6pm does the archiving task keep running even after it has processed a mailbox. I.E. if the mailbox was processed at 9am and an email was recieved at 10am 90 days ago would that email be picked up (i believe its time specific) If so how does the archiving task keep running? i.e. does it just do one pass in the schedule or does it keep looping through the mailboxes throughout the whole timescale of the schedule? Hopefully this makes sense :smileyvery-happy: Re: Upgrade to Version 7.0 and server split Well thats all I was going to do when I was upgrading, cant see why so many people keep saying that you have to get symatec in to do it. Surely theres somebody out there who has done this off their own back? Upgrade to Version 7.0 and server split Just a quick question.... Has anyone attempted the version 7.0 upgrade on their own (i.e.) not having it done by veritas/symantec. I've got the guides etc and it seems pretty straight forward.. am I missing something? Also We currently have 2 servers - one holds all of the EV data and the other runs ALL of the services. we are looking at putting in a 2nd controller server so that in the event of failure at site1 we can resume normal services at site2.. has anyone put in a similar sort of solution. what are the pro's and con's and are there any licesning issues etc... many thanks Aidan
