It turned out to be an issue with our POP3 Connector. I downloaded a hotfix and the problem went away. Thank you for your suggestions.Re: Backup has slowed dramaticallyWe run Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition. The scan is scheduled for 3:00 AM. The backup is scheduled for 11:00 PM. The backup normally takes 2.5 hours which means they would not be running at the same time. At present the backup started last night at 11:00 PM is still running. It is 9:30 AM and only a little over 8GB has been handled in 10.5 hours. Thank you. That was a good suggestion. Anything else?Backup has slowed dramaticallyWe usually back up about 25GB in roughly 2.5 hours. For some reason lately the backups take over 24 hours which obviously causes a problem. We are running Small Business Server Suite Version 9.1 Rev. 4691 on Small Business Server 2003.
