For some reason you cannot backup sharepoint server farm and SQL servers in the same job. I cannot remember the details of the error. I could combine them and whittle the jobs down to just a few. Thanks again for your help! Re: configuring one tape partitions with in robotic libraryThanks Ken! To clarify, Copy each job using a setup job or selection list for each day pointed to each media set. That would be 66 jobs in all. 11 jobs x 6...? Re: Newbie - Loading Media Issue - Where to start ? pull up the task manager and stop the process bengine.exe then restart the processes and BE. Be sure you have all the service packs installed for 10.x and be sure your tape machine has the most recent firmware updates. I had the same problem and once I updated my robotic library firmwareand installed all of the service packs offered by BE the cancel jobs feature worked. configuring one tape partitions with in robotic library I have a Dell Robotic Library and a 7 tape cartridge inserted. I have configured one tape partitions with that library and I run full backups each night. Using the one tape partitions I have configured each tape as one night of the week (media sets) in other words slot one is monday night, slot two is tuesday night and so on.... Every morning I have to log in to the server and change to the media set for that day so that all backups 11 in all will run to that one tape. I hope this makes sense. HOW do I set up the backup to automaticaly change to the next tape or day media set selection???? HELP!!!! How do I configure a backup on a SQL clusterI'm rather new at backing up clusters so I hope this isn't a stupid question. Presently I have Backup Exec 10d installed. I have two Windows Server 2003 servers clustered running SQL 2005. I have a virtual server that allows me to connect via remote desktop and when I do connect i automaticaly get the server that is running as the master. However I do not see the virtual server listed in my remote selections I only see the two sql servers themselves. Will BE 10d work with SQL 2005? What is the correct way to setup a cluster environment for backup to a robotic library?
