Hello, Infrastructure NBU : Master Server Windows 2012R2 v8.0 Robot scalar 80 After done all pre-requisite for upgrade to v8.3.0.2, backup NBDB, reorganise it and shutdown all services, i'v launche the upgrade, FAILED because of a the Tomcat Certificate expired. The Rollback failed to because of a the ACL on the C:\ i've restore the catalog, but at the end, the system could not restart the database ! I've restore catalog without handling the database: OK but since it's worth. Since i ve seen a lot of error from the database: Error : « The Activity Monitor failed because of Connection to bpjobd daemon on server <> failed. « Job data is still being refreshed. Connection to server <> failed due to error : A connection to server could not be established » Analyses : nbemm Log « Dbserver is down » « Failed to get database connection » To verify the status of nbemm i execute this command line « nbemmcmd –listhosts –verbose » Error from databse or no reply DbServer is down Nbdb_ping : No ping Nbdb_admin –auto_start NBDB : OK Nbdb_admin –auto_start NBAZDB : OK Nbdb_admin –auto_restart BMRDB : Failed So, it's seem's to be a problèm from the BMRDB Options : Rebuild the database BMRDB Uninstall et reinstall NBU since restauration catalogue Could you give me some advice please.1.1KViews0likes3CommentsDésactivate secondary operation of SLP

Guten Tag, ich hätte eine Frage bezüglich der Laufwerksanzahl die benötigt werden um ein vollständiges Backup erstellen zu können. Wir haben einen Windows Server 20003 R2 mit einer Systemfestplatte [C: / D:], dazu noch drei eingebundene 1TB Datenfestplatten. Wenn ich nun ein Backup des Servers beauftrage, werden mir folgende Laufwerke angezeigt: 1. Sys C: 2. Data[C:\fs\4\] 3. Data[C:\fs\X\] 4. Data[C:\fs\Z\] 5. Data[D:\] Meine Frage ist, muss ich um ein funktionierendes Backup bei Ausfall der Systemfestplatte zu erhalten, alle Laufwerke sichern, oder reicht es wenn ich nur die Systemfestplatte (1. / 5.) sichere? After san-client is enabled on NBU5220, NBU5220 works as a FT media sever, we can see the FT processes as below: nbu52201:/ # bpps -x|grep nbf root 13016 1 0 21:22 ? 00:00:05 /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/nbftsrvr root 13043 13016 3 21:22 ? 00:00:24 /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/nbfdrv64 -m=0xfc08002 -v=3 -s=256K -p=20 What are the command options here for nbfdrv64? -m=0xfc08002 stands for what? -v=3 stands for what? -s=256K stands for SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS_FT? -p=20 stands for FT-Pipes (FT Connections)? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried to change "Maximum concurrent FT connections" to 16 using NBU Java GUI concole, in Media server host properties, and then restarted th NBU processes, but nbfdrv64's command option for -p is still 20. I'm working on the same issue. Essentially you need to migrate your Backup Exec DLO to Symantec DLO. Search for BE-DLO Migration and you'll find inside the DLO Administrator Guide they tell you how to do this. It's an independent version of Backup Exec DLO.
