Universal Restore
Hello all, This is my first post ever to a forum and I believe it's a bit of a problem. I work for a small IT Support firm. We have a customer that has a few C&C machines that run from the blueprints and software off ofWindow 7 machines. We were notified bymanufacture of the machines there is a voltage flux in the machines that are prone to destorying the PCs connected to the machine. Our customer would like us to take an image of the computersand be able to reinstall the images taken on new hardware, computers that have different hardware configurations, all without losing any information,programs andcomputer OS. I'm looking for ideas on how this can be done. I've read it can be done, just not sure how to approach the problem, so I'm looking for some ideas. Optimised duplication not supported when source and target server are the same..
Hi All, Trying to configure deduplication in a multi netbackup environment but getting error media write error 84( Optimised duplication not supported when source and target server are the same) Dont know what i m doing wrong..Below is the environment.. 1-Two netbackup server's both are configured as master and media server..both having different MSDP configured.. 2-if i removed the deduplication and configured replication only then it works fine, but whenever deduplication is configuring getting error media write error 84.. 3-Attaching the snapshot of SLP..I think i m not able to configured target server in SLP..i read lot of docs but nothing works Thanks in advance..Solved3.4KViews1like1Comment
PDCR services often become unused
Hi, Please advice what other solution i have resolve pdcr crashing / become unused below extarct of spoold.log spoold.log : ERROR: unexpected chunk number 196 (expected 27) for toast value 336282189 July 22 22:17:47 ERR [1075325248]: 25004: database query failed /Storage/data # /opt/pdcr/bin/crcontrol --queueinfo total queue size : 335802609 creation date of oldest tlog : Mon Jul 21 12:17:36 2014 Beside increase exiting physical memory, what other option i have to make my pdcr service stabil.
