Ok, next question... One of our servers, that happens to be a backup domain controller, we're using to run test backupswith thetrial version of 2010. The system logon account (which is same as system account right now)being used to backup this dc is a member of the domain admin group which in turn is a member of the administrators group. We have even tried with another domain admin account and get same results. Have followed the error link and tried solutions but no luck... ...andwe keep getting following errors on the test jobs: Error category : Security Errors Error : e000fe7d - Access is denied. To back up or restore System State, administrator privileges are required. For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-65149 We have also turned on AOFO (thanks pkh). I Got this error for the backup failure. I checked for solution here. Support content says asThis happens when the the partition scheme selected while partitioning the disk is not readable by the Operating System. For example: GPT disks are new, and are readable only by Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows Vista(all versions), and Windows XP x64 Edition.I checked with the partition scheme. It was regular NTFS scheme used for partition. I'm not sure what might be wrong with the backup. Help please.Solved3.8KViews0likes2CommentsBackup Exec 15 SDR Backups on Media Server
I can't seem to get SDR to turn on with our BE15 media server jobs. This means I can't to a bare metal restore or conversion from point in time to VM. This basically means you can’t restore your backup exec media server in a real DR situation. Has anyone seen this before, or currently experiencing this? I am working with Veritas no support at this time.Solved3.4KViews2likes20CommentsHow to Restore backup files in Case that Backup Exec Server broken
