Protecting Oracle Standard Edition High Availability (SEHA) with BackupExec v22
Dear all, We have a prospective customer usingOracle Standard Edition High Availability (SEHA) over Oracle Linux 8.6. After checking the Backup Exec v22 SCL file I don't see anything about the support for Oracle SEHA databases, is it supported? Being an Active/Passive cluster option for Oracle Standard, do we support the failover between nodes using our BE Agent for App and Databases from the active node to keep the backup service ready from the node alive? So I am trying to install the Linux agent that is on the dvd but it keeps giving an error which is the following [root@server agent]# ./installralus.cmd ./installralus.cmd: line 1: if: command not found ./installralus.cmd: line 3: REM: command not found ./installralus.cmd: line 29: syntax error: unexpected end of file Any ideas?
linux RALUS agent and BTRFS
Hello, After successfully installed agent for linux onto an Ubuntu Server 20.4 I can browse all storage content from backup exe except some folder. This Ubuntu server use BTRFS file structure and some sub volumes are not browsable by the RALUS agent. I have this message : "Failure to browse "gitlab" The directory or file was not found, or could not be accessed". I can browse in home directory or /root but not in certains sub folders like /var/lib/btrfs/subvolume/. How to give acces to these folders for RALUS agent ? Thanks :)
Can not backup linux machine for credentials
Hi, I'm trying to backup a Ubuntu 20.04 machine, when i add the server it works fine. The problem is while checking credentials. I used a beoper user but it's giving me error in [ROOT]. In (I tried using the root user and it's not working too + added to beoper too) Error message: "test failed, test recommended" Tried: I tried uninstall ralus and still not working. The first time that i configured it worked fine but after reboot on linux machine it is failing.
