Hi, I am trying to configure SFRAC on Windows 2008 R2. I didn't find a solution of SFRAC for windows. Iknow that SFWHA is active/passive. But SFRAC is active/active, and it uses CVM rather than VxVm.I wonder if there is anyway can make the Oracle DB and shared disks active/active on Windows? Hello, Reading through the VCS sfha 5.1sp1 Virtualization guide chapter 3 states that Oracle 9iR2 is supported in Solaris 9 branded zones. Does anybody know if this includes Oracle 9iR2 RAC running across two Solaris 9 branded zones on cvm/cfs. If this is not supported is it known to actually work? I have Volume Manager 4.1 running on a Solaris 10 with Sun Cluster. This is a 2 node cluster and one node is fine, however on the second node vxconfigd fails to start on reboot. The odd part is that vxconfigd starts and works fine if I manually start it once the system has booted up. The Oracle/Sun support folks have suggested re-installing Veritas, and I've located some install disks so I'm ready to try that, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can try first?Solved1.5KViews0likes3CommentsVXIO Notice - Veritas Volume Manager (with CVM) 5.0 MP3 RP4
