BMR Restore issues
Hello everyone, Environment: NBU Server: OS: Windows 2008 R2 (VM hosted on ESX) Source Client: Windows 2008 R2 (VM hosted on ESX)Hard disk: 3 (20G, 5G, 10G) Destination Client: Windows 2008 R2 (VM hosted on ESX) Hard disk: 01 (40G) NBU Server and Client version: 7.6.0.4 What i did: I took a full "BMR Option enabled" backup of client with "ALL LOCAL DRIVES" directive, and it completed with status code 0. As this is DSR restore, i copied the current config to eiditable one and made changes to NIC Mac and ran "Prepare to discover" option. New config is discovered, now edited the config and changed Disk layout to match it with the source one. Ran prepare to restore. Issues: Now when i rebooted the destination client using PXE boot, it started the process, but when it detected Dissimilar disks,it opened DDR utility insted of using the disk layout which i provided in Configuration. anyhow, i created the same disk layout that i created in config using DDR. After successfully partitioning the disks, it gave an error "The restore stopped due to following error <?>". I have attached the screenshots and bmrrst logs. Please help me diagnose the problem. Waiting for you kind response. Regards,Solved1.8KViews0likes3CommentsCan't selected drives on selected computers

Hey guys, We currently have 2Gig set up through NIC teaming for our backup exec setup. When we have backups running, it barely reaches 35-40% of the bandwith. I am using Backup Exec 2010. Has anyone else here set up NIC teaming before? What are some things that might cause slow performance? Are there any specific settings in Backup Exec that may help? Thanks!5.1KViews3likes9CommentsUpgrade SSR 2013 R2 SP2 MS to SSR 2013 R2 SP3 MS by SIM

SSR 2013 When I try to delete a Recovery Point Set I get the message "Successfully deleted 0 policies." If I edit the policy then use the menu in the top-left corner to try and delete it I get the message "The item is being referenced by one of more other items. You must first delete these items...." It then provides a link to view the referenced item, which is apparently a filter. If I look at this filter, I can see it has no members and is not referenced by any other objects. If I try to delete this filter, it won't let me, with the same error message as above. Completely stuck now with no idea what to do!Solved1.4KViews0likes8CommentsSSR 2013 SRD Fails Boot on system with PERC H310 Raid Controller
I'm running SSR 2013 on a Dell 64 bit Precision T3600 independent workstation with a Xeon ES-1650.0 CPU, 16 GB of RAM and containing a PERC H310 Raid adapter that controlls two 1 TB HDs currently running as independant C: and D: drives (i.e., in non-RAID configuration). 2013 succdessfully backs up the C: (boot) drive to D: in weekly sets with offsite copy. However, attempting to restore C: from image using the 2013 SRD runs into an immediate probllem. When attempting to boot from the CD/DVD drive (preceded by the H310 boot from bios), even before the Windows logo appears, I get a blue screen stating: "Your PC needs to be repaired. There isn't enough memory available to create a ramdisk device. Error Code 0xC00000017." Attempting to use Lights Out produces the same result.. I attempted to customize the SRD with the H310 driver (percsas2.sys), but the SRD Wizard would not accept the .sys file. So I have two questions: 1. Could the problem be caused by something other than the H310? 2. If the probllem is the H310 controller (none of my other systems without controllers have SRD recovery problems), is there a fix short of removing the H310? -- Jim3.3KViews0likes11Comments
