PureDisk Agent for Windows uninstallation fails.
Hi all, I have a customer with a Win2003 64 bits server which has PDagent 6.6.x installed, Trying to uninstall it, using remove programs from Control Panel, it asks for the .msi package. It refers to a users folder which does not exist anymore. So, question is: What can I do to remove PD agent? I want to install NBU 7.6.x.x to use Client-Side dedupe instead. System state failures in pure disk
Hello All, it was windows 2008 r1 Client backup is failing with system state(completing with 64%), and getting below errors. Error: 2: resource child process: snapshot required but there is nothing to snap: no such object Error: 2: name process: unable to process 'Shadow?Copy?Components': no such object troubleshooting steps: We have been checked all writers are in stable state, But still backup is failing with system state error. Kindly let us know what was the next troubleshooting step to proceed from here. pure disk version is V6.6.4 Thanks.3KViews0likes4Comments

We need to switch our backup SAN from Pillar (SAN01) to EMC (SAN02). I was wondering if we could de-assign a LUN from a SAN (just said SAN01) on media server (just said media01). And then assign a new LUN from another SAN (just said SAN02) on the media server media01. We do not remove the images of media01 from the old LUN from SAN01 on the master server. Then we use the new LUN on the SAN02 for a week. Then we need to restore something from the old LUN on SAN01. Can we unassigned the LUN from SAN02 and re-assign the LUN from SAN01 on media01 and be able to restore it ? thanks877Views1like4CommentsERROR: There is a PureDisk Agent installed on this machine. Need help on how to fully uninstall Puredisk Agent. I already uninstalled Puredisk Agent 6.5 on the add/remove programs. I will then install Netbackup 7.1 client, but when running the installation, I got the message that puredisk agent is still installed so netbackup client installation won't continue. I tried to uninstall in the directory path C:\Program Files\Symantec\NetBackup PureDisk Agent\uninst.exe but did not uninstall at all. Had this error: could not uninstall the VxFI components of Snapshot Support. Uninstall was not completed successfully. But on some machines, when I had this scenario, I can uninstall puredisk well.
