how can you take a backup from mysql /postgresql with backup exec 16

I have backup exec 16 as server on windows machine but all my agents are linux servers ( ubuntu ). I can take backup from whatever directory in the server I normaly take backup from ( /etc - /var/www...

Minaax BE does not have an agent for MySQL or PostgreSQL (NetBackup does). 

You can use the database's internal backup tools (e.g. mysqldump) to create a backup to disk, and then perform regular file-level backup of the folder where the backup-to-disk was written.
