Veritas NetBackup upgrade Appliance server from 4.0.0.1 to 5.0.3.1 NBDB down

Hello,

We are trying to upgrade our primary server (appliance 5240) to 5.0.3.1. The upgrade fail at the step 8 of 9 at the post uprade sefl check.

Some services are not starting and the NBDB is down. It seems the migration of the bases from Sybase to PostgreSQL doesn't go well.

The folder /usr/open/db/data is missing after the upgrade.

Before the upgrade we have installed the UTF8 EEB and no error shown by the readiness analyzer.

How can we check the migration from Sybase to PostgrelSQL logs ?

    Why did you not open a case with Veritas Support?
    Even if there are skilled members willing to assist you, this problem is difficult to resolve in a forum.
