Backup Exec 15 Job Failing V-79-57344-41488

Question

For the past almost 6 years, this setup has worked and just recently has it stopped.&nbsp; I've got BE 15 installed on a Server 2012 machine, with agent on 3 other server 2012 machines.&nbsp; Backing up to tape.&nbsp; Recently its been timing out.&nbsp; Size and rate have remained steady.&nbsp; The error in the log:&nbsp;V-79-57344-41488 - Due to one or more errors in \myremoteserver\System?State, this backup cannot be used for conversion to virtual machines, Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR), or a complete online restore.
Media mount failed.
User canceled a Physical Volume Library operation.
V-79-57344-33861 - The media operation was terminated by the user.&nbsp;

The job is probably asking for another tape to be mounted and it timed out when the tape is not mounted.

You are right.&nbsp; That appears to be the problem.&nbsp; The size of the backup has remained steady over the years, but the tapes we have are very old.&nbsp; Do you think they just need to be replaced?
