Perhaps you could try installing Service Pack 4 which includes the service pack 3 and the other hotfixes. The Service Pack is available for download at the following link:

Tried that its still requesting SP1... can someone please point me to BE4691SP1.exe...

You could try this:

Create a new String Value reg key in:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\C896E102E88BEA14C864B3ABACCD6D7E\Patches
with a name of “D79D598B3FAA59A4092C12877E5E3F60” with a Data value of :baseToUpgraded00;:#baseToUpgraded00.

Browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\C896E102E88BEA14C864B3ABACCD6D7E\Patches
Delete: D79D598B3FAA59A4092C12877E5E3F60

Attempt to install SP3.

Unfortunately the PATCHES folders is not available for deleteion in the following key when I browsed for it...

Browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\C896E102E88BEA14C864B3ABACCD6D7E\Patches
Delete: D79D598B3FAA59A4092C12877E5E3F60

There is a FEATURES
a INSTALLPROPERTIES
and a USAGE
folder though...

what next?

I have this as well, interestingly I reinstalled sp1 and sp3 ran OK. However sp4 bombed out with be4691rsp1.exe patch missing. I seem to recall sp3 had other issues as well.

Will look at Chris's link.

Same problem on 3 of 6 servers.

All patches prior SP3 aplied.

SP3 & SP4 says be4691rsp1.exe patch missing.

I'd be glad to reinstall SP1.. but I can't find it to save my life... can someone point me to a link or something?
