Backup Exec Application & Database Pack

Hi

 

Using Single Backup Exec appliction and database pack,Is it possible to backup two applications(SQL and Oracle) in the same server

    AFAIK you need 1 Agent for App and DB license per application.

    You can confirm the same through Symantec Licensing Team.

    You definitely would need 1 Agent for Application and Database license per server per logical instance of the application.

    So you cannot use 1 Agent for Application and Database to backup both Oracle and SQL on the same server and even if you manage to do so, you would be in violation of the EULA.
