Backup exec License since Backup exec 2012

    When you purchase a database license for something like Exchange, it contains the license for the remote agent...no need to purchase one. If you're just backing up a file server for instance, you'd need a RAWS agent.

    This is why you can see the application and the server's local drives with the DB agent.
