Backup log retention period

Is there a way to set how long the log file for files backed up to be kept for a long periods of time?  I have a customer that would like to keep the logs for up to two years.

    Unless you have changed the setting to capture the files backed up in the job log.  The job log does not contain the list of files that are backed up.  After a backup, this list of files backed up can only be obtained from the catalog.

    If you go to Tools>Options>Settings>Database Maintainence, you can change the job log retention period here.

    Just be aware that the longer they are kept the more space it will take on the drive.
