Backup MSDE 2000 on a Windows Server 2000 SP4

Hi everyone,   is it possible to backup a MSDE 2000 which is installed on a Windows Server 2000 (SP4) using the BE 2010 R3 BE Database agent? I only find SQL 2000 in the SCL not the MSDE 2000. ...

    Should be OK as its just a free & scaled down version of SQL Server 2000

    And have a look @ pg 21 of the SCL (or just search for MSDE in the SCL)

    ...you might have to dump the databases nightly through MSDE before backing up the flat file.

sorry my fault. Was blind and maybe to stupid to use the "search function" ;-)
