BackupExec - Backup Oracle RAC with 2 Media Server
Hello everybody.
I searched the forum but didn't find the solution. I have the following scenario: I have 2 LTO robots (2 media servers) and I would like to isolate them. Each in a separate room. Example: leave one in the datacerter and put the other in another room, running the same jobs in both. So far so good, because they are on the same network.
On Windows Server and virtual machines (vmware) I can add more than one media server in the backupexec agent, but my database is an Oracle RAC (Oracle Linux), and there I can only add one MediaServer in the Agent settings.
Has anyone seen this scenario with Oracle RAC?

You can add two BE servers in the Agent settings for Linux too

If you look at my attached screenshot; you can see I have two two BE servers listed in my example (highighted).
