BackupExec SCOM2007 Management Packs download

We need to find the location on where can I download the   management packs for the monitoring system SCOM (version 2007).

I am unable to find the management packs and require help to name the Management packs to monitor components mentioned in the table given under.

S/W

Versions

Enterprise

BackupExec

BackupExec 10/11/12

SCOM2007

can anyone let me know where to download the management packs for BE and SCOM2007

  • Just for info as I could find the BE 2010 R3, BE 2012 and BE 2014 management packs for SCOM but could not find the BE 15 version I asked internally.

BE 15 does not support SCOM - and yes we do know the BE 15 admin guide seems to state something different and are already looking to get the admin guide corrected

As an aside and because it comes from outside of Symantec, the information in this link is to be used at your own risk, there is a blog here fron someone who has been trying to monitor BE with SCOM

  • ...I can only see SCOM management packs from BE 2010 R3 and up, while it seems the older versions were configured to report into Microsoft Operations Manager.

Best bet is to PM VJware and see if he can reply with a link.

    Thanks!

  • CraigV is right. There aren't any SCOM Management Packs for older versions of BE as they were configured for MOM instead.
