BE 21.4 No catalog operations showing in job histories

Hello.  I recently rolled out a new BE server with a fresh install of BE 21.1.  I am noticing some differences in our previous server install with BE 16.  I did do an upgrade of our BE 16 to BE21.4.  I am not seeing some completed operations in the job histories window.  On our old server if I performed a restore, it would show completed.  Same for catalog operations, it would show the task was completed.  I am not seeing wither of these in the new 21.4 install.

Is there a setting that I have missed or is this by design?

Not a big deal.  Just curious.  Thanks in advance.

    Check Job Settings -> Instant GRT 
    Set it to use the second checkbox if that is what you set it up earlier with. 
    Running this delayed catalog job helps with search capability during restore.
    If Instant GRT i.e. first radio button is chosen then it does a shallow catalog as part of backup and restore
    browse is produced dynamically from the backup set. Hope this helps.

    I did check that and it is the same for old vs new.  I will keep an eye on it.

    A quick update.  I've been doing some tweaks on the jobs, and after a reboot all the job types are now showing in the history.
