Beckup Exec 16 upgrade to 20.2

We are trying make an upgradefrom version 16 to 20.2. We found tips from this forum and from Verias pages. At first stage, OS is Windows Server 2008, so we made new installation of Windows Server 20...

    Problem has been solved with support case after 1,5 month. Only manual execution of upgrade to version 20.1 without deduplication engine and upgrade to 20.3 and fixes and manual installation of licenses.

    Don't try upgrade without your agreement, that you will be two months without working solution.

Hello

Delete all content of the folder C:\ProgramData\Veritas Shared\Licenses\Backup Exec. This will delete all you licenses in 16 version. After that try to upgrade in trial mode to 20 version.

After upgrade to 20 version you can install you licenses, but only 5 at a time.

I wasted 2 month to find solution, I opened case in Veritas and Microsoft but have no luck. Only 2 weeks ago Veritas acknowledged the problem and created tech article https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100044739
