Do you know if Backup Exec can be installed on a guest os running on a hyper-v ?
and backup-then convert physical computer to virtual machine on the same hyper-v, is't work ?

It's probably only going to be supported if you're backing up to a NAS share or iSCSI drive, but certainly not a tape drive presented from the Host as Hyper-V doesn't support SCSI Passthrough of tape devices.
And that support is going to be very limited from Veritas. Been that way for a couple of versions, and mainly tied into the virtualisation provider, and not a Veritas thing.
