Differential job problem

I setup full job and differential job with the backup option in attached screenshots.Don't know why differential backup job back up all data instead of the change since last full backup. I use differ...

    Also, try switching from "modified time" to "archive bit", rerun the full followed by the differential and see if it makes a difference or not.

If the backup job fails due to certain reasons, then the backup job will automatically retry based on error-handling rules (if enabled) and if checkpoint restart is enabled.

Check the job log on the MMS as to why the backup is reporting as failed. That should give an idea on how to prevent the job failure.
