DISK-TO-DISK Devices under BE 12

We currently have on all our BackupExec 12 disk-to-disk devices set to only hold 2 sets of backups.   On some this setting is working and other it does not work.    We also have our overwrite protection period is 2 days.   Can someone explain how this works and why some folders have more than 2 backup sets while others are working correctly.    This is on a windows 2008 media server.

    If the ones with more than two have only three, it may be because the jobs finish after mid-night, thus adding one day to the retention period
