Final error: 0xe0008703

Hello,

I tried running the a test run on one my Incremental Backups and i got this error; Final error: 0xe0008703 - The test run has detected a potential problem

I've tried following this article but no joy

There is plenty of space/data that are set to be overwritten.

I've set the Append Period to Infinite - Allow Append and the overwrite protection period to 30 days, which like i said is showing data that is overwritable.

Anything else i can try??

    The incremental backup went through fine last night, how strange!!!

    Hi James,

     

    What happens to the production run of the backup job? Do you get the same error?

    Well i followed the article and did a backup job (not test run) on one folder that wasnt very big with files in and that was successful and i then added the rest of the data and tried running the test run again like it said and i got the same error

    ...run a normal backup of the full data and see what happens.
