BK Server: Windows 2008 R2 with Backup Exec 2010 R2 with Agent for Hyper-V (backing up to Tape) Hyper-V Server: Windows 2008 R2 with a virtual machine that is running all the time, so it's mounted during the backup job. Does the Error: V-79-57344-38721 - Failed to mount one or more virtual disk images: occur because the VHD is already running? If yes, a suggestion would be to change the software code to not list it as an exception, so the backup can say "successful" and not "completed with exceptions"

Restarted the Server with the previous changes and now it's working :)

I have turned off the GRT option in the Backup job for Hyper-V and restarted the Backup Exec services, but I still get the exception.

I can successfully back up the Virtual Machine using BKEXEC Remote Agent, just not the Host Hyper-V Machine and Virtual machine using the BACKUPEXEC Hyper-V Agent

Changed FSDepends Start value to Boot as per Microsoft KB :http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2013544

Also, I have unchecked the use GRT Technology

Still the same problem
