Hi,
I'm new to this forum, I have BE 2014 installed and currently need to backup windows server, policy for the same should be
Backup type: FULL
Retention :12 days
Media Tapes 6
i got confused,that do i create one media set (include 6 tapes to same) or 6 media sets (one tape each)
how do i set OPP and APU so that i manage media effectivly.
The number of media sets created depends upon the OPP/APP set.
If you want different tapes to have different OPP / APP settings, then one should create that many number of media sets. If the OPP / APP settings are going to be same, then only one media set is enough.

Unless you're running a GFS policy (Daily, Weekly, monthly) then 1 media set would work.
