yasterday i saw message close mailslot from hp backup libarary screen so i try to remove this message from the symantec backup system but i can't so i try to restart the storage then i saw the Robotic failure 9B 3B error message
so please guys i need your help what i can do ??

Hi,
Download HP Library and Tape Tools and run the diagnostic check against the library. It's probably going to show a hardware error and you'd need to then log a call with HP to provide support.

The Mailslot is something that you need to configure using the Web Interface or the Front panel of your device. Backup exec would not be able to see it i.e. it would be invisible to Backup Exec.
As far as locking and unlocking the device is concerned, you can do it by referring to http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH33500
Note: A tape would go to the mailslot when you run the Export job : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH34389
