Ports to open for BE10d and Remote Agent

I have recently had to move my DB server which is a Solaris 9 OS box off of domain "A" and on to domain "B". The BE10d is installed on a Windows Server 2003 R2 EE SP2 and still lives on domain "A".  ...

    10000 is right and the Default port ranges are 1025 to 65535. Symantec recommends using a range of 25 allocated ports for the remote systems if using Backup Exec with a firewall. Check out page 336 on the admin guide provided below

Thanks for the reply Donald, I'm requesting Corporate to open the ports 6101, 10000 and 50000 - 50025 and open these in the BE options/Network and Firewall settings.  We'll see how it goes.
