Backup Exec 2014 - Byte Count is ZERO on successful Jobs from EMC VNX SAN

Starting about a week ago, I noticed from the job logs that the byte count on successful jobs is zero most of the time. The job rate is also blank. Happens for FULL, Incremental, and different...
The internal information relating to TECH217414 seems to show that it will still affect BE 2014 SP1 and that that Symantec are under discussion with EMC directly about the problem.
