Reboot prompt for remote agent install
I am attempting to do a push install of the Backup Exec remote agent (not the open file agent) to several Windows Server 2003 (no SP) servers from a Backup Exec 10d SP2 installation. The remote servers already have a pre-SP2 10d agent installed on them. When I try to do the install, for all of the servers it displays this message:
You must reboot the remote server \\ to complete a previous installation of Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers. After rebooting, continue with the installation.
From everything I have read here, neither installing nor uninstalling the remote client should require a reboot. Is there any way around rebooting all of these remote servers?
