Report generation

Hi,

  My aim is to pull a report on daily basis and send it to a mail group.

Report is to be configured for a particular job (for eg:hourly Log backup running on all servers).

I have tired  report generation activites in symantec tool , but i could pull report on dailly basis for success failures. my concern is to pull a report filtered on job type like full backup, incremental backup .

    If the Backup Exec canned reports can't do what you want, you have the option to customise and select the information you're looking for. Take a look and see what options you have.

    If this doesn't work then look at a product like Bocada.

    Create a Custom Report. Choose Job Group as Category and also select "show advanced fields".

    You can then select Job Name, Job Type & Status as well.

    If the Backup Exec canned reports can't do what you want, you have the option to customise and select the information you're looking for. Take a look and see what options you have.

    If this doesn't work then look at a product like Bocada.

    You can use the BEMCLI cmdlet Get_BEJobHistory to get what you want and there is also filters that you can use
