Restoring from Partially Overwritten Tape

Does anyone know of a way to restore original data from a tape that was been partially overwritten?
A rookie mistake. I created a Restore job, clicked on Run Now, inserted the tape containing the files I needed to restore without realizing a backup job was already in the cue. The backup job started on the tape I'd inserted. The header and a few files were overwritten before I realized what was happening and canceled the backup job. Is it Monday again?

    Nope. Not using BackupExec, any way

    You may be able to get some data back by going to a Data Recovery service,. but no guarantees

    (and we've all been there - well, most of us anyway, whether we want to admit it or not :-) )
