SAN Base Backup

hi

i need to get backup to SAN . which licence i have to purchace for Backup exec 2014

  • There are too many different scenarios for how to achive a SAN based backup and each scenario can only be used in specific environment, so we need more details of what type of data you are backing up, where the data is stored, what type of device you intend to backup to, whether virtualization is involved and if yes whether the media server is virtualized or not.

  • You can mount a LUN as a Drive on the Media Server and backup the resources to this SAN Volume. The base backup exec 2014 core license would suffice in this case.
