Setup a tape erase before a backup job

Hello,

You can set a schedule to erase the tape but you cannot do it before running the backup job.

Why on earth would you want to? This would completely bypass the Tape Management features of BackupExec, one of the reasons you bought a commercial product rather than just using a spreadsheet, right?

Set the OPP on your media sets so that when a tape us due to be reused, the OPP has expired. for dailies I use 6 days, for weeklies 27 days etc
