Sharepoint - backup server/SQL and sharedpoint farm saparete?

When I add my sharepoint server to BE2012, I get 2 entries in my server list - 1 is the server itself and 1 is 'Server Farm 1'.
In server itself have C:\, SQL, System State and Sharepont and backup it except Sharepoint. I backup server farm 1 separete job.
Do I need backup SQL\Sharepoint instance separate job?
If backup jobs are in a different times. How can I retore them? (sicronization SQL and Server farm)
Selecting your Sharepoint farm is the proper way to backup your Sharepoint. This is because the farm can comprise more than one SQL instances.
