Tape configuration pblm in BE 2014

Hi guys.,

 

  I have a problem with BE 2014

"The configuration of Tape and job failed because ask to insert Over writable media but the media sets have others drive not full and there is more than 5 TB available" in one media set.

In one media set there are 5 tape,If it one tape is full is it automatically go to another tape?

    Have you checked if the tapes are overwriteable? 

    When a backup job spans over multiple tapes then 2nd tape onwards Backup Exec will request for

    an overwritable media.

    Read below technote to understand overwrite and append period.

    hi guys..thankyou for your information..from Symantec support,they solve the issue..they update Symantec to SP1.

    You got to make sure that you have sufficient overwritable tapes BEFORE the start of the job
