Upgrade to BE Simple from existing Backup Exec v21 licensing
Dear all,
We have an existing customer with BE v21 and FETB licensing and would like to use Backup Exec v22 with BE Simple licensing and using just 1 Backup Exec server for all their needs: current virtual servers and future M365 workloads.
Can Veritas convert the current Backup Exec FETB licenses to BE Simple licenses and offer them to use a single console to manage previous and future backups in their existing Backup Exec server?
Otherwise, which solution could fit better in our customer needs?

license exchange is not available as of now but you can purchase it as new. In future the license exchange functionality may be available but unsure of the timeline as of now.
During the upgrade , use trial and then once BE is upgraded then use the new BE Simple license to unlock M365 backup functionality and much more
