windows agent

I have a customer who want to backup a DB and a windows fileserver. He bought a BE windows server license and 2 pieces of application and DB agent. 

1. Does he still need to by 2 pieces of windows agent license for db and fileserver backup?

2. What license is needed to backup the windows fileserver?

    1) The Agent for Applications and Databases comes with a Windows/Linux agent licence.

    2) To backup a file server, you only need a Windows/Linux agent licence
