Archiving with delayed shortcut creation

Hi All

My customer uses another archiving product that allows them to archive without creating a shortcut at day 0, it then allows them to shortcut these items after 30 days has elapsed.

I have been looking in EV11 and i don't see any way i can give them a feature mapping such as this.

It seems i can only archive and shortcut at the same time.

Any ideas how i could satisfy their needs?

    Unfortunately that option isn't available in EV.  I would recommend the customer and\or you add an idea to the Ideas section of Connect.

    Hi Shaun, you can apply the trigger file mechanism and check for trigger file every 30 days.  You may endup with 30 days of extra safety copies in your environment.

    P.S. I would still follow Tony's idea and let Symantec know about this idea.
